| ANY PROBLEMS with the tractor call Roy Scott ASAP 724-482-4351. Sometimes the clutch does not fully engage. Watch for this and notify Roy. | WE NEED HELP For the Open House - Cub Scouts (July 9th 1:00pm). We will need volunteers to pick up the hot dogs, buns and condiments also to members to take care of the pop. There will be a need for all trainers with trainer cords that can be used by the Cub Scouts and our neighbors who come to see what we are about. If everyone can do a little we can get a lot done. Remember this is important for future events. Let's be sharp July 9th - no accidents, check batteries, hinges that work.
BAMS Raffle This year is starting off with a raffle for a P-51 ARF. This is a pre-built and covered model of a WWII fighter. The model also comes with mechanical retracts. The plane will need a .45 2-stroke for power or .70 4-stroke. Tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. To buy tickets come to a meeting or contact an officer of the club. The tickets will be sold til the drawing date of Sunday July 10th. This plane is well worth over $100.00 so don't let an opportunity like this pass you by to be flying the premier WWII fighter.

| ATTENTION: Use the aerator while mowing until the ground is too hard. Mowing schedule has been mailed out. Take the time to check the dates that have been assigned to you on the schedule. If there is a conflict with your work, vacation or whatever, let Bob (Tank) Zabicki know as soon as possible so it can be corrected. Call Bob at 724-285-4352 Your duties when it's your turn to mow are to mow the field around the shelter along with the road to the gate. Use the weed whacker around the gate, shelter, fence and building. Mix up some weed killer and apply it to the parking lot. In the building clean both bathrooms - that means sweep and mop the floors. Make sure there is hand soap, toilet paper and paper towels. Thes last items can be picked up at one of the many "dollar stores" in the area. Also, you supply the gas for mowing. It sounds like a lot to do and this is why there are two fellas to each mowing weekend.

| Sailplane Event Will be held on Saturday July 30th. This is a early morning event (9:00 am) so let's have a good showing to check out this type of R/C flying. | Open House & Boy Scouts The club discussed at its February meeting that it wanted to have a Fly-In this year. But there was great concern with out neighbors around the field because of problems several years ago. So this year on Saturday July 9th we will have an open house from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Information Flyers will be distributed to invite the people living in the area to stop at the field to check us out. Also we will have a group of Boy Scouts that will be there to check out R/C flying. Officers will be present and both club trainers will be available for young and old alike to give R/C flying a try. The club will also have free pop and hot dogs for our guests. If this goes well with positive feedback then we will move forward with a fly-in. So pencil that date in so there is a good showing and plenty of help to cook them dogs. If you have a trainer that can be used please bring it along.
