LOGO Search
The BAMS club is looking for a new logo. All members who wish to participate are to have their entry given to Roy Scott by August 7th.

Let's try to keep it in the good spirit of model aviation and something that would suit all who fly and build model planes.

Open House
The club discussed at its February meeting that it wanted to have a Fly-In this year. But there was great concern with our neighbos around the field because f problems several years ago.

So this year on Saturday July 9th we will have an open house from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Flyers will be distributed to invite the people living in the area to stop at the field to check us out.

Officers will be present and both club trainers will be available for young and old alike to give RC flying a try. The club will also have free pop and hot dogs for our guests.

If this goes well with positive feedback from the neighborhood then we will move forward with a Fly-In. So pencil that date in so there is a good showing and plenty of help to cook them dogs.

Mowing schedule has been mailed out. Take the time to check the dates that have been assigned to you on the schedule. If there is a conflict with your work, vacation or whatever, let Bob (Tank) Zabicki know as soon as possible so it can be corrected. Call Bob at 724-285-4352

Your duties when it's your turn to mow are to mow the field around the shelter along with the road to the gate. Use the weed whacker around the gate, shelter, fence and building. Mix up some weed killer and apply it to the parking lot. In the building clean both bathrooms - that means sweep and mop the floors.

Make sure there is hand soap, toilet paper and paper towels. Thes last items can be picked up at one of the many "dollar stores" in the area. Also, you supply the gas for mowing. It sounds like a lot to do and this is why there are two fellas to each mowing weekend.

YARD SALE
Ron and Judy Hemphill are once again allowing us to invade their home for the BAMS annual yard sale. As most know this is make or brake fund raiser for the BAMS. So start saving items for this event which will be on Saturday June 4th this year with 7:00 AM for the setup. Judy would like member to bring 1 each package of buns and hot dogs. Remember one man junk is another's treasure so save everything and lets have a great sale.
