	The Latest Happenings The club had it's work day scheduled for Saturday, October 28th called off due to bad weather. The workday was re-scheduled for the following Saturday. Whole whopping 9 members showed up to work. These 9 members succeed in getting the signs down and put away for the winter, the walkway from the parking lot to the pavilion finished and the field got it's annual dose of lime put down. The turn out for the annual dinner at the Runway was held and a pretty good turn out was seen. Apparently all who attended had a good time. The newly elected Board of Directors is scheduled to hold its first official meeting on Thursday evening at the home of Roy Scott. The Board plans to begin planning for our second annual fun-fly. The Board will also be discussing the continuation of the points system instituted last year to encourage more member participation in club activities and events as well as the penalties for those members who did not attain their measly 5 points. The mowing schedule and the calendar of events for 2007 will also be discussed. A Couple of Reminders Based on current information, the regularly scheduled general membership meeting for February, 2007 will be held at the home of Tom Mekis again. Make plans to attend. It appears that the November 11th. field closing day has been cancelled. The bathrooms have already been cleaned and closed down for the season. If you go to the field, keep this in mind if you have plans on using the facilities - there is no water. The club's website will be getting overhauled and moved to a new host in the next couple of weeks. Members accessing the site should have no problems getting to the site, as the URL (www.thebams.org) will not change. Only where we have the site’s files will change.
